Champions Square, an outdoor amphitheater that is 90,000 square feet, opened to the public on Aug. 21, 2010 at the site of the former New Orleans Centre Mall. There were rave reviews immediately, and Champions Square instantly became one of the city’s most popular entertainment venues for corporate events, festivals and concerts. During football season, it’s also home to the area's best Saints pregame party.
The theme “champions” was derived from the Superdome’s long history of hosting championships, and the Square features iconic images from the famed building’s storied history. The Square is where every day is a championship.

Champions Square is one of New Orleans’ most popular outdoor venues and it offers a unique event experience for receptions, concerts, festivals and exhibits. Champions Square is located on LaSalle Street, directly off the Grand Staircase of the Superdome at Gate C, and opened to the public on Aug. 21, 2010.
club XLIV and Encore, indoor private lounges located adjacent to the stage just off Champions Square, can be rented in conjunction with the Square or are fabulous venues on their own. The indoor private lounges offer 17,900 feet of VIP space for Champions Square events, or a modern lounge space for smaller receptions. club XLIV is loaded with high-end furnishing and amenities, and when combined with Encore, can accommodate up to 1,000 people.
Opening Act at Champions Square adds 12,000 square feet of indoor, climate-controlled space, complete with mounted TVs and lounge furniture to utilize in conjunction with the Square for your event.
