SUPERDOME RENOVATION PROJECT

ENVISION THE FUTURE 

2020 marked the start of a multi-phase, multi-year renovation project that will continue to build on the Superdome's previous improvements and lay the foundation for the future. The focus of this renovation will be on improving the guest experience with modernized amenities, while maintaining the building's architectural characteristics. Upgrades will include expanded concourses, new entry gates, escalators, enhanced food and beverage services and more efficient stadium technology.

During the multi-year (2020 through 2024) renovation, "heavy" construction will take place during the football off-season months. We will be open and ready to host previously contracted events during the off-season, such as the annual Essence Festival of Culture, presented by Coca Cola and the 2022 NCAA Men's Final Four. Less disruptive work will continue each year during the football season with all games and other already contracted major events proceeding as scheduled.
